Liz Walker will present a part of her powerful documentary on the Sudan, “A Glory From the God”, the documentary that shows how one woman’s energy can ignite a movement to change the world. The film profiles Boston minister and pediatrician Gloria White-Hammond in the movement against genocide in Darfur, and her commitment to support families in the Sudan. With exclusive video footage, much of which she shot herself, Liz chronicles the many trips she and Gloria have made to the Sudan, and the founding of the work of “My Sister’s Keeper”.My Sister’s Keeper is a small faith-based group of American women determined to stop the genocide and help Sudanese women rebuild their lives and communities.

Liz Walker is well known for the highly-acclaimed twenty five years she spent at the

CBS Channel 4 News anchor desk.Most recently she is directing her journalistic expertise, creativity, and passion for the community on her new show, Sunday With Liz Walker, and on her independent non-profit film company, Liz Walker Journey Productions.Liz Walker Journey Productions seeks to increase public awareness of human rights issues around the world while creating opportunities for community building.

Liz is focusing her lens on the tragedy that is Darfur.The fifth year of genocide is now beginning in Darfur.At this point in time, 400,000 people have been killed and 2.5 million have been displaced to refugee camps.
